* James D. Orefice has been appointed chief operating officer for Urethane Technologies Inc. in Irvine. Before joining the company, he was with Arco Chemical Co. for 11 years, most recently as business manager-Asia Pacific. Before that, Orefice worked for Mobay Chemical Corp. In addition, Donald H. Killmer was appointed director of engineering. He joined the company in April after being at Dow Chemical Co. for seven years. He has also worked at Upjohn Co.’s polymer chemicals division in technical services and at Ford Motor Co.
