In conjunction with the “Flights of Fancy” exhibit, the Children’s Museum at La Habra will host continuous entertainment and hands-on workshops at its Children’s Arts Festival Day on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Underwritten by Target Stores, the free, family event is the nonprofit museum’s way to “give back to our visitors . . . and let newcomers get a taste of the place,” according to Carrie Wictor, curator of education.
Free admission to the “Flights of Fancy” exhibit will be offered, and children age 5 and up can create windblown crafts at supervised art stations.
Ongoing entertainment on the museum’s outdoor stage includes performances by Dance, Etc., storytelling by “Grandpa” Jim Lewis, magic by Rainbow the Clown and “Hat’s Entertainment,” a mime show by Ruben Gerard.
