George Hanft, a Temple City resident since 1958, has been named Temple City’s Outstanding Older American for 1993.
Hanft, a retired teacher from the Art Center of Design in Pasadena, has donated his time to design city proclamations, certificates, the city flag, holiday banners and the city entrance sign.
