GOOD DEAL FOR KIDS? Los Alamitos Race Course partners, who want to build a card club there, have announced a $1-million advanced education fund for Cypress’ schoolchildren. And if city voters approve the card club (Measure A) on June 8, part of the club’s profits will expand that fund. . . . “Some cynics may say that we are trying to buy votes for Measure A with this announcement,” says partner Lloyd Arnold. “We are not.”
