D’Antonio’s article was right on target. People like myself will have a hard time getting a piece of the pie. If the government would let me put my Social Security earnings into a private annuity, I, too, might retire to some idyllic getaway. As a 33-year-old single woman who is living on a modest wage with no investments, it’s hard to sympathize with these “golden oldies.”
