Nevada Las Vegas is investigating whether an airline ticket provided to basketball player Kebu Stewart by a onetime state Senate candidate violated NCAA rules.
In the latest problem plaguing the Rebel basketball program, UNLV counsel Brad Booke said Tuesday he believes the university had been set up by supporters of the school’s former basketball coach. Jerry Tarkanian resigned in June of 1991 amid ongoing turmoil with the NCAA.
