Gerry Lopez has been appointed resident manager for the Anaheim Marriott. Lopez, who joined Marriott in 1974, was most recently a Western regional “total quality management” training team member. He has also been director of food and beverage at the Newport Beach Hotel & Tennis Club and director of human resources at the Anaheim Marriott. Also, Diane Birkes has been appointed director of human resources. She was formerly director of human resources at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott.
