While the Bills roamed their locker room looking like a bunch of players who had been beaten, 52-17, team owner Ralph Wilson Jr. refused to accept a third consecutive Super Bowl loss as the end of the world.
“The fact we got beat today is disappointing,” he said, “but I’m not going outside the room here and slit my throat.
“It’s been a great season. I can’t put the negatives on this thing like people might expect. I’ve had as much enjoyment out of this personally as any in the past.”
