In other Sea View League girls’ soccer:
University 1, Woodbridge 1--Laura Watson scored for University (6-6-3, 4-2-3) and Morgan Ganitch scored for Woodbridge (5-6-5, 2-3-4).
Newport Harbor 2, Tustin 1--Kim DeMayo made one of her four saves on a free kick from inside the penalty box to keep Tustin from tying the score with less than 10 minutes left for Newport Harbor (8-9, 3-5).
In the Century League:
Foothill 1, Orange 0--Christina Gustin scored for Foothill (12-13-1, 2-3-1).
El Modena 3, Villa Park 1--Brenda Hinrichs, Gina Mandel and Jennifer Nelson scored for El Modena (12-3-2, 4-1-1).
Canyon 7, Santa Ana Valley 0--Kim Campbell scored three goals for fourth-ranked Canyon (16-2, 5-0).
In the Empire League:
Los Alamitos 6, Loara 0--Sophomore Liz Willemse and senior Brandie Hayungs each scored twice for Los Alamitos (13-2-1, 6-0).
El Dorado 1, Cypress 0--Kelley Wilhite scored in the first half for El Dorado (10-6-1, 4-1-1).
Esperanza 0, Katella 0--Suzanne Denet had seven saves for visiting Esperanza (3-1-1 in league) and Becky Heflin had six saves for Katella (9-6-3, 1-3-1).
In the Garden Grove League:
Garden Grove 2, Bolsa Grande 0--Stephanie Mareina and Sara Des Palmes scored for Garden Grove (4-8-4, 1-3-2).
In the Orange League:
Brea-Olinda 2, Western 0--Erin Wright and Aliva Anthony scored for Brea-Olinda (10-6-2, 6-0).
Valencia 1, Magnolia 0--Amber Dickey scored for Valencia (7-7-1, 5-1).
In the Pacific Coast League:
Laguna Hills 3, Laguna Beach 0--Crista Capshaw, Nicole Jolicoeur and Berkeley Edwards scored for Laguna Hills (13-7, 5-1).
In the South Coast League:
El Toro 0, Mater Dei 0--Maria Nicholl had two saves in the first half and Amanda Fox had five saves in the second half as host Mater Dei (11-5-3, 2-1-1) tied El Toro (13-1-3, 3-0-2), the top-ranked team in Orange County.
Capistrano Valley 2, Mission Viejo 0--Tara Maher and Lindsay Light each scored first-half goals for host Capistrano Valley (16-4-2, 4-2), ranked fifth in the county.
In the Sunset League:
Huntington Beach 4, Westminster 2--Amy Lebrun, Jenny Roethlisberger, Tawnia Pett, and Eileen Dunaway scored for visiting Huntington Beach (9-9-2, 2-3-1).
