Crenshaw : Meeting With Supervisor

The Southwest Assn. of Neighborhoods will hold a community meeting Saturday with County Supervisor Yvonne Brathwaite Burke to discuss problems in her district.
The meeting, at the Department of Water and Power Building, 4030 S. Crenshaw Blvd., will begin at 9 a.m.
The association is a federation of block clubs and neighborhood groups in the area bounded by Olympic Boulevard and Vernon Avenue to the north and south and Normandie Avenue and La Cienega Boulevard to the east and west.
“We want to attack problems on a structural basis and talk to the people--elected officials, civil servants or businesses--who have the power to make changes,” said Lauren Schlau, association chairwoman.
