Rockwell Earnings Up: Rockwell International Corp. reported that its fiscal 1993 first-quarter net income and earnings per share were higher than the first quarter a year ago but sales were down slightly. First-quarter net income totaled $127.8 million, an increase of 4% from last year’s first-quarter comparable income of $123.3 million. Earnings per share for the first quarter were 58 cents, up from 54 cents per share a year ago. Sales totaled $2.49 billion, compared to $2.56 billion in the same period last year.
