PANORAMA CITY : Hospital to Reopen With New Direction
- Share via
A Panorama City hospital closed since early this year will reopen under new management next Monday, an official in the operation said Monday.
The 96-bed Panorama Community Hospital was purchased this summer by San Fernando Community Hospital, administrator David Gustafson said. The two hospitals eventually will merge into one operation, providing 160 beds.
Gustafson said the hospital’s new owners have been making improvements to the facility, plan to upgrade the radiology department and want to reopen an obstetrics unit. He added that the hospital will provide bilingual services to cater to Latino patients. He refused to disclose a purchase price.
