ROUNDUP : Agoura Cruises Past Westlake in Girls’ Volleyball

The Westlake High girls’ volleyball team let Agoura into its gym Tuesday night, but the Chargers would not let the Warriors into the Marmonte League match, winning, 15-9, 15-1, 15-7.
Jenny Pavley led Agoura (9-2, 8-1 in league play) with 15 kills, Tracy Heflin had 20 assists and Tammy Barus added 15 assists. Westlake is 6-3 in league play.
In other girls’ volleyball matches:
Thousand Oaks d. Newbury Park, 15-6, 13-15, 15-2, 15-3--The visiting Lancers improved to 8-1 in Marmonte League play to keep pace with Agoura. Tricia Tuley had nine kills and Gretchen Gulbranson had 36 assists for visiting Thousand Oaks.
Hart d. Canyon, 15-7, 7-15, 9-15, 15-9, 16-14--Shannon Martin had 18 kills and Rachel Rich had nine aces for Hart (5-6, 2-5). Canyon is 6-1 in league play.
WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL
Moorpark d. College of the Canyons, 15-11, 15-4, 15-7--Mandy Burroughs had nine kills and Sandy Conwell had 21 assists for Moorpark in a Western State Conference match.
WOMEN’S SOCCER
Moorpark 1, Bakersfield 1--Rachel Gagliano’s second-half goal gave Moorpark (7-4-6) a tie in a WSC match.
