Monday marks the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus’ arrival in the New World in 1492. Closed: Los Angeles city and county offices, state and federal offices, courts, banks, post offices and libraries.
Open: Most businesses, Los Angeles city and county schools, stocks and commodity exchanges and the Los Angeles County Law Library. RTD buses will follow regular schedules.
