Magnus Gustafsson, a member of the Swedish team that will face the United States in the Davis Cup semifinals at Minneapolis on Sept. 25-27, twisted an ankle during Tuesday’s workout at Bastad, Sweden, and might have to go to Germany to see a doctor if the injury does not heal.
Christian Bergstrom will be the substitute if Gustafsson’s condition does not improve.
