HUNTINGTON BEACH — Democratic vice presidential nominee Al Gore has scheduled an appearance at Golden West College in Huntington Beach on Tuesday, said Jay Ziegler, a spokesman for the Bill Clinton for President Committee.
In a speech to students and faculty, Gore is expected to focus on President Bush’s “broken promises” to the American people, Ziegler said. The campaign appearance is scheduled for 10 a.m. at the student center patio at 15744 Golden West St. Gore last visited the county in August.
