On With the Shows: New dates have been set for the postponed Guns N’ Roses/Metallica shows in Southern California, with the tour now scheduled to hit San Diego’s Jack Murphy Stadium on Sept. 23 and Pasadena’s Rose Bowl on Oct. 3. An announcement is expected soon about an additional date at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The tour was suspended after Metallica singer-guitarist James Hetfield suffered burns on his hands and arms during a concert in Montreal. Guitarist John Marshall of the band Metal Church has been enlisted to fill in if necessary when the tour resumes Tuesday in Phoenix, with Hetfield singing only.
