Machine Shop Acquisition: A Huntington Beach machine shop has been acquired by American United Global Inc. in Downey for $2.75 million.
American United said Monday that it acquired Aerodynamic Engineering Inc. for $1.35 million plus a loan for $1.4 million. Aerodynamic Engineering provides precision machined parts, such as landing gear for aircraft, for aerospace and defense businesses.
John Palumbo, chief financial officer of American United, said Aerodynamic Engineering’s 55 employees will continue to work in the Huntington Beach facility.
