Josie De Falla, former acting director of the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, has been named director of the Maryhill Museum of Art near Goldendale, in south-central Washington state. De Falla had been a candidate for the Bowers directorship but withdrew from consideration and left the museum in April of 1991, citing other job opportunities. Maryhill is best known for its Rodin sculptures and watercolors but also collects American Indian artifacts and a range of other artworks.
