Olympics, Week Two: Doesn’t Anyone Have Spirit of the Games?

On July 29, our family watched the equestrian jump trial on Channel 4, and it was a unanimous opinion that we have never seen such cruelty to animals. Whether we were shown the worst of the falls is not important, but what was important was how the officials allowed such treatment to be perpetrated under the guise of an Olympic event.
