Beheaded Body Is 2nd Decapitation in 2 Weeks

EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. — The beheaded body of a teen-age clerk was discovered in a downtown store, about a mile from where another decapitation murder occurred less than two weeks ago, authorities said.
The body of Tamadj Griffin, 17, was found Saturday behind the counter of the New York Cleaners. The girl’s head was about eight inches away.
Police refused to discuss Sunday whether authorities believe the two killings are related. No arrests had been made.
