Two-time U.S. Open champion Tracy Austin, 29, became the youngest player to be inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame at Newport, R.I.
Also inducted were Philipe Chatrier, former president of the International Tennis Federation, and the doubles team of Bob Hewitt and Frew McMillan of South Africa.
