Countywide : Colleges Seeking Trustee Applicants

Applications are being taken to fill a trustee position in the Ventura County Community College District vacated by Gregory Kampf.
Applicants must be residents of Area 1, which includes Saticoy, Montalvo, north Oxnard and most of Ventura. Prospective trustees must be at least 18, U.S. citizens and registered voters.
The governing board will discuss selection procedures at its May 5 meeting. Interviews will be conducted in open session May 26, and selection of an appointee is expected by early June.
Kampf left the board this month to take a position with a school district in Northern California. The person selected to replace him will serve the rest of Kampf’s term, which ends in November, 1993.
The form is available at district headquarters, 71 Day Road, Ventura. It must be completed and returned to the district office by 5 p.m. May 15.
