How-dee, Minnie: Country music star Barbara Mandrell will host a tribute to homespun humorist Minnie Pearl on May 6 at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. The event, “Hats Off to Minnie Pearl,” will be taped for airing on the Nashville Network in October. Pearl is recuperating from a stroke that has not allowed her to perform in recent months.
