Weiner, Abrams Advance in Easter Bowl Tennis

MIAMI — Glenn Weiner of Cypress, seeded fourth in the boys’ 16 division, defeated Robert Tedesco of Locust Valley, N.Y., 3-6, 6-4, 6-2, Wednesday in a third-round match of the Easter Bowl Junior Tennis Championships at Doral Resort and Country Club.
In a boys’ 14 third-round match, third-seeded Geoff Abrams of Newport Beach eliminated Kent Wright of St. Petersburg, Fla., 6-2, 6-2.
