Prego Accommodates Yen for Italian Food

With Japanese accounting for 5% to 10% of his customers, manager Roberto Rossi of Prego Ristorante in Beverly Hills decided that his menu needed an overhaul.
But not to sushi.
Now Prego offers what it believes to be the only Japanese-Italian menu in Southern California, with the names of all its dishes translated into Japanese.
The menu even offers a phonetic spelling of the Italian in Japanese so Japanese customers can order in Italian.
