Uniden Corp. of Japan named Ken Kikuchi president of its Uniden Valencia Inc. and Valencia Inagiku Inc. units.
Kikuchi will oversee operations of the Valencia Country Club, a private golf club in Valencia, and the Inagiku, a Japanese-style public restaurant at the club. He succeeded Ed Tanabe, who assumed new duties with Uniden in Japan.
Kikuchi previously was a vice president at Uniden’s U. S. headquarters office in Dallas. The company mainly produces communications equipment.
