Camera Platforms Shows $564,000 Quarterly Loss

Camera Platforms International Inc., a Valencia company that makes, sells and rents production equipment for the entertainment industry, reported a fourth-quarter net loss of $564,000 on a 13% decline in revenue to $742,000.
A year earlier, the company lost $288,000 on $853,000 in revenue.
In the year ended Dec. 31, Camera Platforms lost $1.9 million, as compared with a loss of $1.55 million in 1990. Revenue in 1991 plunged 36% to $2.65 million from $4.11 million.
Camera Platforms said it continues to suffer from the economic slowdown and reduced motion picture and television production schedules.
