COUNTYWIDE : Member of Public Sought for LAFCO

The Ventura Local Agency Formation Commission, the group that authorizes boundary changes for cities and special districts, is accepting applications for a seat on the commission.
Interested people have until March 20 to submit applications for the public seat. LAFCO is made up of two county supervisors and two members of city councils who will select the member to represent the general public. The new member would be installed May 20.
