The Knights’ star center scored 30 points, grabbed 23 rebounds and blocked 11 shots as she led her team to a couple of CIF Southern Section Division II-AA playoff victories. Davis had 10 points, 15 rebounds and five blocked shots as the Knights defeated Glendale, 63-24. She then added 20 points, eight rebounds and six blocked shots to help her team crush Long Beach Poly, 69-39.

* Tamika Herald led Gethsemane Baptist of Long Beach to a couple of CIF Southern Section Division V-A basketball playoff wins. Herald scored 31 points and grabbed 22 rebounds in a 78-34 win over Baker, then added 14 points and 14 rebounds as the Crusaders defeated Santa Maria Valley Christian, 46-40.
* Allison Arredondo, the center for Gahr High of Cerritos, scored 30 points as she led the Gladiators to an 87-48 win over Garden Grove in the CIF Southern Section Division II-AA basketball playoffs.
