Monrovia : City Slogan Contest Urged

City Councilman John Nobrega suggested Tuesday that a contest be organized to choose a city slogan to be put on city documents, signs and vehicles.
Nobrega said many of the city’s neighbors have adopted slogans “that indicate some pride in their city.”
Nobrega also offered a few ideas of his own, including “Pride of the Foothills,” “City on the Move” and “City of Growth.” City staff agreed to look into the idea of a contest.
