Murder-Suicide in Chula Vista Condo

Two people died Sunday in an apparent murder-suicide in a Chula Vista condominium, police said.
Police responded to a 911 call at 3:23 p.m. and found a husband and wife shot to death in their condominium in the 1500 block of Apache Drive, police said.
“It wasn’t one of those mutual-death type situations. It had to do with a romantic relationship with one party. Whether it had to do with the female victim or the male victim, we’re not sure yet,” Lt. David Miller said.
The names and ages of the victims were not available, Miller said.
The children of the victims, ages 18 and 6, were away at either a friend’s or relative’s house at the time of the deaths, he said.
