CHEERS: They’re calling it a holiday “wassail,” an English toast to good health. But the county’s Human Relations Commission is celebrating its own survival at a party today. After nearly losing its funding, the commission carried on with a lean budget. The party, open to the public, will launch a drive for private funds. . . . Says commission head Rusty Kennedy, above: “There’s a certain amount of trepidation about the future but at the same time, there’s excitement.”
