COUNTYWIDE : Sexual Harassment Complaint Resolved
- Share via
A formal sexual harassment complaint against a Ventura County official has been resolved privately by both parties, a state official has confirmed.
Ted Herzberg, district administrator of the state Fair Employment and Housing Department, said Tuesday that the complaint filed in August against Robert L. Braitman, executive officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission, by Lynne Kada, his staff analyst, was settled Nov. 12.
“It was resolved by the two parties,” Herzberg said. Therefore, he said, the agency closed its books on the complaint.
In October, Braitman, 44, and Kada, 55, signed a settlement agreement mediated by the county that addressed the same harassment issues. But this action did not resolve the complaint lodged by Kada with the state.
Braitman has announced that he will leave his LAFCO post in January to become a private consultant.
