Face to Face With Magic: CBS is preempting Wednesday’s edition of “48 Hours” at 10 p.m. to make room for a “Face to Face With Connie Chung” special with Magic Johnson. Chung interviewed the HIV-positive Johnson in his Los Angeles home last week. The special will include reports on living with AIDS and interviews with some of Johnson’s friends, including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and former Lakers coach Pat Riley. Chung and Bob Arnot, medical correspondent for “CBS This Morning,” will also talk with teen-agers about their concerns about AIDS.
