Final Cuts Made in Clipper Roster
The Clippers made their last cuts Monday, releasing Marvin Andrews, Rory Sparrow and Clinton Smith.
Charles Smith, who had knee surgery Oct. 19, and Bo Kimble, still recovering from a July stress fracture in his left foot, will be put on the injured list soon, opening spots for free agents Tony Brown and Lanard Copeland as temporary replacements.
Brown started last season with the Lakers and finished with the Utah Jazz. Copeland battled Sparrow for the final spot and won because of his scoring ability.
The Clippers will open the season Friday night at Sacramento.
