Temple Remains Vibrant, Enthusiastic Place

David Silver wrote an interesting obituary on Temple Beth Zion (Times, Sept. 8). However, he neglected to add that despite the advanced age of many of its members, they are present- and future-oriented and are constantly improving the temple and recruiting new membership. The temple was completely filled with young, as well as old, at the Rosh Hashanah services Monday and Tuesday, and they showed their vibrancy and enthusiasm in their giant fund-raising support for Bonds for Israel. We welcome Mr. Silver to visit again next year for an update of his report.
