Rapping a Rapper: Dance pop sensation Gerardo, rapper of recent hits such as “Rico Suave” and “We Want the Funk,” has been sued for $10 million by former business partner Fabian Cooke for copyright infringement, unfair competition and contract fraud. Cooke alleges in the federal suit that he co-wrote Gerardo’s hits and helped create and produce his stage routine.
