Volleyball

Many of the best beach and indoor players will come together for the Team Cup Volleyball League, which begins its sixth season tonight at the Forum with the first of four doubleheaders.

For the first time, the competition includes a foreign entrant, Il Messaggero, the Italian champion. Two American stars, Karch Kiraly and Steve Timmons, will play for Il Messaggero, as they did during the recent season in Europe.
