L.A. Story: For Angelenos craving City of Angels lore, today KPCC-FM (89.3) will begin airing a series of spots focusing on Los Angeles’ history. The two-minute programs, airing weekdays at 12:05 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., will look into the personalities that shaped the city. The project is sponsored by the California Community Foundation, which makes grants to nonprofit organizations.
