NO REGRETS: Defense attorney Milton C. Grimes admits he deliberately picked an all-woman jury for the trial of his client, John R. Jordan Jr., who was facing the death penalty for a double murder in Anaheim, marking a first in an Orange County capital case. . . . “Mammas bring life into this world, they don’t take it out, right?” Grimes explained. Jordan, whose outbursts prompted a judge to have him gagged, was sentenced Monday to 50 years to life in prison (B7).
