Rancho Santiago Names Women’s Coach

SANTA ANA — Deni Christensen has been hired as the Rancho Santiago College women’s basketball coach, Athletic Director Roger Wilson announced Friday.

Christensen, a walk-on, replaces Myrond Brown, who resigned after nine seasons. Brown will continue to teach at Rancho Santiago.

Christensen, who played at Cal State Fullerton, coached at El Toro High School last season. She led the Chargers to a 19-7 record, 10-0 in the South Coast Conference.
