PREP SOFTBALL : El Camino Real Wins Another Title

El Camino Real High of Woodland Hills used two wild pitches to score the winning run in the top of the ninth inning Thursday, lifting the Conquistadores to a 1-0 victory over Granada Hills and their fourth consecutive City 4-A softball title.
Jennifer Gould went the distance for El Camino (17-6). Granada Hills was 13-3.
In the 3-A final, South Gate avenged last year’s championship loss to Huntington Park with an 8-6 victory over the Spartans.
South Gate lost to Huntington Park, 2-1, in the finals last year.
