Scott D. McVay has been appointed vice president of worldwide sales for Emulex Corp., a Costa Mesa computer products company. McVay had been responsible for sales and marketing at Iomega Corp. and Calera Recognition Systems Inc. He also spent nearly 20 years at IBM Corp. in various sales and marketing management positions.
