Jordan Rarely Gets the Help He Needs

Allan Malamud writes: “The difference in Game 4 of the Chicago-Philadelphia series was that Michael Jordan had a better supporting cast than Charles Barkley.” Hey, Allan, why no mention of Game 3, when the customarily spectacular Jordan gets 46, but his teammates, once more, stink in Philly’s two-point win?
And, since you’ve brought it up, let’s really tell it like it is. The difference between Magic Johnson having all those championship rings and Jordan still looking for his first is that Magic has had Worthier talent at his side during his NBA career.
