Weekly to Debut: A new weekly community newspaper, the Newport News, is scheduled to begin publishing July 11, according to Kay Schrock, owner of Schrock Communications and publisher of the planned tabloid paper. Robert C. Bloom, former arts editor of the Orange Coast Daily Pilot, has been named executive editor. Schrock recently relocated to Newport Beach from San Diego, where she operated a management and marketing consulting business whose clients included two weekly publications.
