What a Bonanza: Michael Landon drew many viewers to the “Tonight” show Thursday. The show had its highest overnight ratings of the season as Landon discussed his fight against cancer and blasted the supermarket tabloids for their coverage of him. NBC said the overnight sampling from 25 markets showed a 10.4 rating and 29% audience share, meaning about 13 million people, compared to a 5.3 rating and 17 share average for Thursday nights in the last four months.
