Sepulveda Not Just Gangs, Apartments

It infuriates me to constantly read that the area on the east side of the San Diego Freeway is made up of gangbangers and apartment dwellers. My family and I live in the area bordered by Haskell Avenue and Sepulveda Boulevard, between Lassen and Plummer streets. We live in a 12-year-old house, not in a gang-ridden apartment building. We are surrounded by blocks of 12-year-old houses, as well as blocks of older single-family houses. This entire area is extremely well-kept, and we resent you printing such lies about us.
Obviously, Howard Cohen and Michael Ribons have better connections than the rest of us. Their untrue stories about all of Sepulveda are constantly being printed. Cohen and Ribons are not superior to us just because their homes are a few houses west of ours.
