San Diego police are investigating the shooting death of a man whose body was found early Saturday in a city park, authorities said.
The victim, who remained unidentified, was believed to have been between 17 and 22 years old, officials said.
A couple walking through Grant Hill Park, in the 400 block of 26th Street, discovered the body near a public restroom about 2:30 a.m., police said. Authorities put the time of death about a half hour earlier, when neighbors reported hearing gunshots coming from the park.
