Team Wins 2nd Prize in Map Competition

Five students at Mark Keppel High School in Alhambra, representing California, have won the $3,000 second prize in the high school division of the national historical map competition sponsored by the Commission on the Bicentennial of the U.S. Constitution.
The map, which depicts early U.S. history up to 1803, will be displayed at the National Geographic Society through the summer.
The students are Christina Bae, Linda Taing, Henry Cong, Anna Chautran and Phuong Duong.
